I spent €150 on clothes.
Went to the cashier and was asked to pay €0.30c for a bag.
All in the name of “saving the planet.”
BS – this is not about the environment.
This is just another way to squeeze a bit more out of customers.
It’s theatre. A tired, fake eco-push wrapped in guilt.
And plenty of people buy into it, because they’ve been told the planet needs saving, and this is how.
It doesn’t need saving, not like this.
If you really cared about waste, you’d look at packaging, supply chains, and logistics.
Not charge 25 cents for a bag on the way out.
This isn’t environmentalism.
It’s opportunism.
