I can’t for the life of me rent continuously without owning where I live.
I get the logic.
Renting can be smarter.
Lower commitment. More flexibility.
Especially in the Bitcoin era. You can stack sats instead of tying up capital in real estate.
It does make sense on paper.
But emotionally?
I don’t think I can do it.
The idea of building a life in a place I don’t own, only to have a landlord decide they need it back?
That would break me.
I need the security.
Just knowing it’s mine.
That I won’t be forced out of a place I’ve made home.
That’s hard to price.
But it matters.
