Trying to correctly guess how many drinks to buy for a party is harder than it should be.
So I built partydrinkcalculator.com and it does one simple thing well:
It tells you how many drinks to buy (and also how much it will cost).
You enter your party size, the duration, and the types of drinks you’d like to serve, and it does the math.
And you get a clean list of what to bring home.
It started as an experiment. I wanted to learn how to build websites using AI prompting, and I used Lovable.dev as the foundation.
Just me, a few prompts, and some fast iterations. The idea was simple enough to test quickly. The tool was sharp enough to help me ship.
What came out is something actually useful.
It’s not fancy. It’s not complicated. But it solves a real problem that people run into all the time.
That’s what made it worth building.
