What I was Grateful for the Most in 2025

Every single morning, I write down three things I’m thankful for.

It’s a habit I’ve stuck with for years now. Just a few quiet minutes to reflect and appreciate before the noise of the day begins.

This year, I went back through all of my 2025 entries (I have hundreds of them), and the patterns couldn’t be clearer.

The three things I was most consistently thankful for?

  • Family: My wife Simona, our baby, and my parents. From IVF to pregnancy to birth, 2025 was a massive year for our family, and nearly every day I acknowledged how grateful I was to be surrounded by love.
  • Health: I gave thanks for our physical well-being almost every day. Mine, my family’s, my cat’s. Health isn’t just a cliché, it really is the foundation.
  • Work and Wealth: I’ve built a life where I can work on my own terms (for the most part), and I don’t take that for granted. I was constantly thankful for my online business, my income, my ideas, and the growth of my net worth and investments.

This simple daily practice keeps me grounded, focused, and clear on what really matters.

Gratitude isn’t about being soft or passive. It’s about remembering what you’re fighting for.
