Freedom Starts at Home

One of the biggest financial advantages I have is this:

My parents don’t rely on me.

They’re not waiting for me to retire them.

They’re not asking for help with bills.

I’m not covering their mortgage or topping up their groceries.

They can take care of themselves.

It’s not something I take for granted.

Because I see the opposite every day, people in their 20s, 30s, even 40s trying to build a life while carrying their parents financially.

That’s heavy. And it slows everything down.

When your energy has to split between your future and someone else’s past, momentum gets harder.

I’m grateful I don’t have that burden.

I’m also grateful for the help and advice they give.

It means I can focus fully on building.

On taking risks.

On getting stable for myself, first.

That freedom is rare. And I know it.
