Eco-friendly Hotels are a Scam

Eco-friendly hotels are the worst places you can stay.

They sell you “sustainability.”

What you get is cold water, one towel for the entire week, and furniture from 1987.

All in the name of “saving the rainforest.”

It’s fake and it’s lazy.

And somehow, they charge more for it.

This isn’t green. It’s just uncomfortable.

What annoys me most is that people fall for it.

(Like the bag-charge scam).

They think they’re doing the right thing.

Like freezing in the shower makes them the good guys.

This is what’s wrong with the world.

Mediocrity gets a pass if it wears a “help the planet” sticker.

Lack of service gets rebranded as virtue.

And no one questions it, because “eco” must be good, right?

Next time I book a hotel, I want the opposite.

Hot showers. Thick towels. Proper lighting.

Use all the energy. Burn it if you have to.

At least be honest about what you’re offering.

Because I didn’t come on holiday to live like I’m off-grid in a broken cabin.
