Shut up if You’re Under 25-Years of age

The opinions of children and teens should never be considered.

Harsh, but true.

One of the biggest mistakes we’ve made as a society is pretending that anyone under 25 has fully formed ideas worth shaping the world around.

We told them their thoughts matter.

We told them they’re wise.

We told them they’re “the future,” so their opinions must be important now.

And it backfired.

Because children aren’t finished.

Teens aren’t finished.

Even early twenties isn’t fully baked.

Brains, judgement, experience, it’s all still loading.

Yet somehow they’ve been elevated to the same level as adults who’ve lived, worked, failed, rebuilt, and learned.

It’s not their fault. It’s ours.

We handed them a stage they weren’t ready for.

Opinions need grounding.

They need time. They need reality.

Without that, it’s nonsense..

And we’ve built a culture obsessed with nonsense.
